History
A house has been located at this address since at least 1873, although the current house likely dates to circa 1900. This address was 5 N. Pleasant before the conversion of street numbers in 1894 in Oberlin. It is a vernacular, side hallway house with side gables. It has a long history of ownership and has been known as the Fobes, Spaulding and Keiser House. It was purchased by the College in about 2000 and used for its Village Housing program for students.Source
