History
Commonly known as the Yellow House by its color, this modest two-story house with attic dormers is the home of Oberlin's Creative Writing Program. For some years until 2009, it housed the Communications Office, along with the Daub House next door. The house was likely moved to this site in the early 1940s as a private residence. The first known residents were Donald Morrison, an assistant professor, and his wife Ruth in 1948. Subsequently other professors and employees resided there until the College purchased the property.Source Consulted
